8 Inch Ford Rear Applications

We do many 8 inch Ford third member builds. we have original Ford cases and new 8 inch Nodular cases. Our 8” third members feature limited-slip differentials such as billit trac lok, eaton tru trac, grizzly lockers and spools. All 8 inch rears came from the factory with the same 1310 series yoke with 1 1/8" diameter caps and 28 spline axles but in the after market we can make some posi units 31 spline for more strength

Each third member comes with a new housing gasket, and all Trac-Lok units include a friction modifier. We utilize high-quality gears from Motive or US Gear for all our third members.

These units ship all over the world from our location in New Jersey

8 inch standard third members are built with a reconditioned original Ford stock case, pinion support and yoke

Standard Case and Pinion Support:

reconditioned Ford case, cleaned, glass-bead and painted case, pinion support and yoke.
All new internal parts include bearings, seal, o-ring, crush collar, ring gear bolts and pinion nut

8 inch third member come with either a Billet Trac-Lok or Eaton True-Trac we also have grizzly lockers and spools
.New Motive performance series gears available in 3.00, 3.25, 3.40, 3.55, 3.80, 4.11 and 4.62 and used Ford 2.79 ratio
We also have a Billit aluminum big bearing pinion support and Billit steel yoke as an option
